21 พฤศจิกายน2568 พิพิธภัณฑ์สามัญชนจัด Pop-up Exhibition และกิจกรรมที่ชื่อว่าจินตนาการใหม่ (สัญลักษณ์) รัฐธรรมนูญใหม่  ณ BBQ International Gallery, N22, หรือถนนนราธิวาศราชนครินทร์ 22 กรุงเทพฯ 


เป็นเวลากว่า 93 ปีแล้วที่ประเทศไทยเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองมาเป็น “ระบอบประชาธิปไตย” และมีรัฐธรรมนูญเป็นกฎหมายสูงสุดของประเทศ และกว่า 90 ปีมาแล้วที่สัญลักษณ์ “พานแว่นฟ้า” ถูกนำมาใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของ “ระบอบรัฐธรรมนูญไทย” จนเป็นภาพติดตาของใครหลายคน แต่ก็มีบางความเห็นที่คิดว่าสัญลักษณ์นี้ไม่สัมพันธ์กับประชาชน ประกอบกับปัญหาเรื่องรัฐธรรมนูญที่มีมาให้เห็นทุกยุคทุกสมัย ซึ่งต้นตอมาจากการตัดตอนระบอบประชาธิปไตยโดยการรัฐประหาร เช่นเดียวกับในปัจจุบันที่รัฐธรรมนูญ 2560 ก็เป็นผลผลิตจากคณะรัฐประหารเมื่อปี 2557 โดยรัฐธรรมนูญฉบับนี้มีที่มา เนื้อหา และการบังคับใช้ ที่ล้วนไม่เป็นประชาธิปไตย จนภาคประชาชนมีการเคลื่อนไหวเรียกร้องให้มีการร่าง “รัฐธรรมนูญใหม่” ให้เป็น “รัฐธรรมนูญฉบับประชาชน” ขึ้น สิ่งนี้เป็นเรื่องยากเย็นแต่เรากำลังเข้าใกล้ความจริงมากขึ้นหากภายในปีหน้ามีการประชามติเรื่องการร่างรัฐธรรมนูญใหม่


ในกิจกรรม Galleries Nights 2025 พิพิธภัณฑ์สามัญชนจึงถือโอกาสเชิญชวนมาดูคอลเลคชั่นสะสมเกี่ยวกับสัญลักษณ์รัฐธรรมนูญเดิม พร้อมกับให้ทุกคนมีส่วนร่วมในการออกแบบสัญลักษณ์รัฐธรรมนูญใหม่ เตรียมพร้อมรับการประชามติที่จะเกิดขึ้นไปด้วยกัน เพื่อเป็นการสร้างความรับรู้ ความตื่นตัว และก้าวไปสู่โอกาสของประชาชนที่จะมีรัฐธรรมนูญในฝัน ที่สัมพันธ์กับทุกคนไปพร้อม ๆ กัน

 

สำหรับคอลเลคชันรัฐธรรมนูญที่เรานำมาจัดแสดงนั้น เป็นจานพิมพ์ลายสัญลักษณ์รูปพานรัฐธรรมนูญ ที่ผลิตขึ้นในยุคคณะราษฏร หรือหลังการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองจากสมบูรณายาสิทธิราชย์มาสู่ระบอบประชาธิปไตย 


 

New Imagination, New Constitution (Symbol)


It has been over 93 years since Thailand transitioned to a "democratic regime" and adopted a constitution as the supreme law of the nation. For over 90 years, the “Phan Waen Fa” (The Royal Pedestal/Tray) has been used as the symbol of “Thai Constitution” becoming a familiar image for many. However, some opinions suggest that this symbol does not adequately represent or relate to the common people.
This issue is compounded by perennial constitutional problems, stemming from the repeated interruption of the democratic system through coups d'état throughout history. Just as in the present, the 2017 Constitution is a direct product of the 2014 military coup. The origins, content, and enforcement of this Constitution are all widely viewed as undemocratic.


This has led to a civilian movement demanding a process to create a “new constitution” that will become a “People's Constitution.” This is a formidable challenge, but we are moving closer to reality should a referendum on drafting a new constitution be held within the coming year.


For Galleries Nights 2025, the Museum of Popular History is taking this opportunity to invite everyone to view its collection related to the existing constitution symbol, and simultaneously participate in designing a new constitution symbol. Let's prepare together for the upcoming referendum. This aims to raise public awareness, stimulate engagement, and seize the opportunity for the people to have the constitution of their dreams—one that truly relates to and connects with everyone.
